Job summary

Morgan Stanley Asia Limited is seeking a VP-level Software Developer to join the Global Rates Technology team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting applications for Global Linear Rates and FXEM businesses, with initial work on the FXEM Funding platform enabling intraday and end-of-day funding views.

You will collaborate with product leads, traders, and operations to implement scalable, production-ready solutions while driving improvements across global regions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Ability to manage multiple functions or guide junior staff.
• Strong understanding of front-office trading technology and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with product leads across technology to discuss improvements.
• Design, develop, and maintain front-office applications supporting Global Rates and FXEM trading businesses.
• Lead and contribute to the architecture of the Global FXEM Funding platform.
• Deliver scalable, reliable solutions for real-time and end-of-day processes.
• Collaborate with strats, traders, operations, and technology teams to gather requirements.
• Enhance performance, resiliency, and stability of mission-critical trading platforms.
• Provide production support and ensure timely issue resolution.
