Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a VP-level Software Developer to join the Global Rates Technology team in Hong Kong. You will design, develop, and support applications serving Global Linear Rates and FXEM businesses, contributing to a strategic funding platform for intraday and end-of-day views and trading workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in financial services software.
• Experience across full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Ability to lead across multiple functions and guide junior staff.
• Strong technical expertise with problem-solving in fast-paced front-office environments.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with product leads to discuss improvements to technology solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain front-office applications for Global Linear Rates and FXEM trading.
• Lead architecture and implementation of the Global FXEM Funding platform.
• Deliver scalable, reliable solutions for real-time and end-of-day processes.
• Partner with strats, traders, operations, and tech teams to gather requirements.
• Enhance performance, resiliency, and operational stability of trading platforms.
• Provide production support and drive timely resolution of critical issues.
