Job summary

MTR Corporation Limited 香港鐵路有限公司 is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead to oversee maintenance of facility systems and equipment across stations and related buildings. You will lead staff, investigate failures, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires supervising maintenance contractors, coordinating on-site C&R works, and assisting with maintenance documentation related to safety, quality and the environment. Shift, weekend, and public holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering qualification with supervisory experience.
• Experience in maintenance of facility systems and equipment preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Monitor contractor quality, safety and performance and coordinate on-site works.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of staff to perform maintenance activities for all facility maintenance systems / equipment and carry out failure investigation in stations and ancillary buildings within the responsible line(s)
• Monitor maintenance contractor’s quality, safety and performance on maintenance works, as well as co-ordinate the C&R Works on site
• Assist in preparing maintenance documentation in relation to safety, quality and environmental issues

Requirements

• Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / Building Services Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience, of which 1 year should be at supervisory level; or
• Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / Building Services Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience, of which 1 year should be at supervisory level, or
• Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem solving skills

Remarks

• Candidates with extensive experience but lower qualification will also be considered
• Required to perform shift duties and work on weekend and public holidays, when and where required
• The above position offers a Joining Bonus of $12,000, subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant programme
