South China Athletic Association is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor (Building Services) to supervise inspection, maintenance and repair of building facilities. You will lead a team, ensure compliance, and coordinate with departments on maintenance projects.
The role requires a Diploma/Certificate in Building Services, a Registered Electrical Worker Grade B or higher, and at least 5 years of supervisory experience in building maintenance across fire, plumbing, electrical, HVAC.
Supervise team members to perform the routine building facilities inspection, maintenance and repairing works;
Lead and train up the subordinates for strengthening the team competency;
Ensure compliance of the building services systems with the relevant legislative requirements;
Review, develop, execute and monitor the proper maintenance and operating procedures;
To carry emergency repair works at different departments;
Assist, coordinate with different departments on the maintenance works and the carrying out of the works
Assist different departments to identify and formulate repair items, to secure proper and qualify tenderers for quotations and/or tenders.
Coordinate with consultants, assist the out-sourcing works and evaluate the performance of contractors for any in-house projects;
Serve and deal with different departments for following up the tasks as requested;
Provide and respond to the technical support for any ad hoc or emergency issues when necessary;
Handle documentation and reports writing for related job orders status;
Manage the stock of the Maintenance Division and the issuance of payment vouchers;
Assign staff duty roster and job allocation.
Requirements:
Diploma / Certificate holder of Building Services studies or equivalent;
Holder of Registered Electrical Worker Grade B or above and Construction Industry Safety Training;
At least 5 years supervisory and relevant job experience in building maintenance/repairing works including fire, plumbing, electrical, air-conditioning and ventilation;
Possess job exposure to the hospitality/catering/recreational sector is advantageous;
Knowledge of PC skills (MS Word, Excel and Chinese word processing) is an asset;
Able to communicate in English & Chinese.
