Job summary

Kerry Properties Limited invites applications for a Deputy Manager, Technical Services (Grade A Commercial Building - Quarry Bay). The role plans preventive and corrective technical services with checklists and procedures to maintain facilities standards, and leads the team to monitor performance of direct staff, contractors and suppliers to meet workmanship, schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in related disciplines such as Building Studies, Building Surveying, Building Services Engineering or Facilities Management.
• English and Chinese proficiency in speaking and writing.
• Experience in facilities management and building operations is essential.
• ISO certification, audits, and standards familiarity are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan preventive and corrective technical services with checklists and procedures to maintain facilities standards.
• Lead the team to monitor performance of direct staff, contractors and suppliers to ensure workmanship, schedule and budget.
• Prepare, manage and control the operating budget related to technical services.
• Implement the procurement process for outsourced works, including tender preparation, tender analysis, contract administration, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Review and revise service standards, maintenance schedules and records to ensure efficient operation at minimum cost and compliance.
• Prepare proposals and implement upgrading works for building fabric and major facilities to uplift operation standards sustainably.
• Ensure health and safety of the team by managing risks during planning, repair, maintenance and improvement works.
