Lidl & Kaufland Asia Pte. Limited is seeking a Senior Sustainability professional to lead our corporate sustainability strategy across Asia offices. You will drive initiatives, coordinate with internal teams and external partners to advance environmental and social targets.

The role requires a proactive, independent problem solver with strong project management and exceptional English communication skills. Mandarin is a plus, but not required.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years' experience in sustainability.
• Experience in corporate sustainability or related field preferred.
• Proactive problem solver with 'can-do' attitude that challenges the status quo.
• Independent and diligent with outstanding project management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development of Corporate Sustainability Strategy.
• Roll-out measures to achieve office-based targets (e.g. recycling infrastructure).
• Initiate staff engagement activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Liaise with offshore Sustainability leads; oversee budgets, data reporting and progress.
• Identify opportunities to integration sustainability into the employee experience.
• Independently lead sustainability projects (trainings, newsletter, system updates).
• Consult with business units to embed sustainability into practices.
• Engage external stakeholders to achieve targets and recognition (e.g. Caring Company).
• Develop sustainability policies and cross-functional guidance documents.
• Support the Sustainability team on ad hoc projects.
