Job summary

Lidl & Kaufland Asia is seeking an experienced logistics leader to provide administrative and leadership support across shipments to Europe and America. The role focuses on team leadership, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure on-time deliveries and optimized operations.

You will manage daily operations, forecast capacity, and align logistics with corporate strategy while mentoring the team and driving performance metrics in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience within Logistics.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to ensure tasks are understood by stakeholders.
• Strong decision-making, problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Proactive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations: manage day-to-day logistics activities and ensure SLA adherence.
• Lead urgent requests from Merchandise teams, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure on-time port arrivals.
• Monitor performance metrics and dashboards to meet KPIs.
• Handle exceptions: vessel arrangements and transit issue resolution for on-time deliveries.
• Allocate new POs and structure team based on workload and seasonal peaks.
• Mentor and develop team through regular talent and performance reviews.
• Translate corporate strategy into actionable team goals and drive department development.
• Support Line Manager with escalations and cross-functional projects.
