Job summary

lululemon seeks a Director of Supply Chain Environment (Sustainability) to lead environmental strategy across the manufacturing network, with emphasis on Asia. The role partners with sourcing, production, legal and product quality to drive measurable climate, water, and waste improvements.

The incumbent will manage a team of 8–10 experts, influence supplier programs, and collaborate with industry bodies to advance market solutions. Based in APAC, on-site with regional travel.

Qualifications

• 15 years experience working in apparel or footwear supply chains.
• 10 years experience implementing environmental or product sustainability programs related to climate and/or water.
• Direct experience working with suppliers on environmental programs, preferably apparel or footwear.
• Proven ability to excel in a highly collaborative environment with cross-functional engagement, enrollment and alignment.
• Clear communication skills and ability to build relationships with external groups in the supply chain and across the industry.
• 5 years experience building and managing a team.
• Demonstrated capacity to manage ambiguity, multiple priorities, high pressure environments and high-profile projects.
• Highly strategic thinker with a bias for action.
• Strong ability to engage and partner with a variety of stakeholders.
• Strong executive presence and ability to simplify complexity into clear messages.

Responsibilities

• Lead lululemon’s environmental sustainability strategy and multi year roadmap across all manufacturing partners, with particular attention on Asia.
• Lead implementation of supply chain decarbonization programs to meet local coal phase out and renewable electricity goals to reduce Scope 3 emissions through vendor programs.
• Lead water initiatives focused on high risk manufacturing locations with targets, roadmaps and monitoring to meet enterprise goals.
• Establish vendor performance expectations and measure progress; integrate priorities into sourcing and supply chain strategy.
• Partner with RSC operations to improve supplier environmental data quality and create actionable insights.
• Collaborate with industry stakeholders to define multi-brand solutions to industry problems.
• Represent in regional industry collaborations including aii, ACEC, and Cascale.
• Serve as senior regional environmental expert integrating sustainability into sourcing and production teams.
• Lead a team of 8-10 environmental and supply chain experts.
