Job summary

Geek+ in Hong Kong is seeking a Solution Engineer to collaborate with the sales team, research customer requirements, draft pre-sales technical proposals including project layouts and equipment lists. Proficiency in AutoCAD to draw warehouse layouts and flowcharts is essential.

The role involves coordinating internal resources to develop bids, presenting proposals, answering technical clarifications, and supporting contract signings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of working experience in solution engineering, pre-sales technical support or equivalent roles.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills; able to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

Job description

• Collaborate with sales teams to engage customers, identify and sort out technical requirements. Independently conduct requirement research, compile requirement documents, and draft preliminary pre-sales technical proposals, including project layout design and equipment lists. Be proficient in AutoCAD to draw warehouse layout plans and business flowcharts.
• Coordinate internal resources, guide the team to develop competitive bidding proposals, take charge of compiling the technical section of bids, participate in bidding and proposal presentations, respond to customers’ technical clarifications, and support the sales team to finalize contract signing.
• Keep abreast of market conditions in Hong Kong and overseas markets as well as industry competitors, and conduct competitive analysis.
• Manage the solutions team, build team capabilities, and oversee overall team performance.

• Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or other related disciplines.
• 3–5 years of working experience in solution engineering, pre-sales technical support or equivalent roles.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills; able to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences UPS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of prioritizing and handling multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
