Job summary

Towngas Enterprise Limited is seeking a senior IT architect/lead to translate business needs into technical roadmaps and system documentation. You will work with development teams to refine workflows, data integration, and API interfaces, while guiding cloud-native and microservices migration strategies.

Key candidate traits include strong architecture understanding, DevOps experience, and excellent communication with stakeholders across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, SE or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of solid experience in application development or business IT analysis.
• Hands-on development experience in PHP, Python, Java, Spring Framework and Spring MVC.
• Experience in native mobile app development for iOS and Android (Swift, Java, Kotlin) is a plus.
• Cloud platform implementation on Tencent Cloud, AWS or Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on DevOps, API integration (RESTful, SOAP), microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with CRM systems, SAP Finance, eCommerce, loyalty programs and data analytics is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated and keen on tech trends; Putonghua fluent is mandatory.

Job description

Collaborate closely with different stakeholders to analyze business workflows and define functional and technical specifications.

Translate business needs into clear user stories, technical roadmaps, and system documentation for development teams.

Propose system architecture plan integrated with all relevant business functions and advice on cloud-native, serverless and microservices based system migration solutions

Demonstrating of excellent technical understanding of architecture and component technologies that may be utilized to form a unified solution with highly diversified functionalities

Work with system development teams by walking through the solution design, provide necessary support in refining the system, workflows and data integration design

Work with infrastructure team on the infrastructure setup and security

Provide technical leadership and guidance in the evaluation, selection and integration of software and cloud-based technologies

Define API or database interfaces specification between internal and external systems

Documentation on system workflow, data integration and operation processes

Conducting unit-test for robustness, including business cases, usability and general reliability

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related disciplines.

Minimum 5 years of solid experience in application development, business analysis, or related IT functions.

Proven hands-on development experience in PHP, Python, Java, Spring Framework and Spring MVC.

Experience in native mobile application development for both iOS and Android platforms (e.g. Swift, Java, Kotlin) is an advantage.

Solid experience in cloud platform implementation and administration, such as Tencent Cloud, AWS or Microsoft Azure.

Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

Hands-on experience in DevOps practices, API integration (RESTful API, SOAP), microservices architecture, and event-driven architecture.

Experience supporting or implementing CRM systems, SAP Finance applications, eCommerce platforms, loyalty programmes, and data analytics platforms will be highly advantageous.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.

Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about keeping abreast of the latest technology trends and innovations.

Excellent command of Putonghua is mandatory.
