Automated Systems (H.K.) Limited (ASL) is seeking a Security Engineer/Senior Security Engineer in Hong Kong to provide hands-on support for firewall, WAF, proxy, IPS/IDS, DLP and endpoint protection. You will handle onsite hardware/software installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and replacement, while coordinating with vendors to resolve issues and document solutions.

The role requires 3+ years in information security, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work 24/7 on-call.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on security solutions and product supports.
• Proven experience in managing security hardware replacement projects, including EOL/EOS planning, and deployment.
• Experience with security products such as firewall, WAF, proxy, IPS/IDS, DLP and endpoint protection, etc.

Responsabilidades

• Provide project and maintenance supports on security products such as firewall, WAF, proxy, IPS/IDS, DLP and endpoint protection, etc.
• Provide onsite hardware / software installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and replacement.
• Respond to customer enquiries related to product failures, coordinating with product vendors, and documenting resolution steps for future references.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex security hardware issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical security emergencies, ensuring rapid response and resolution to minimize business impact.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, e.g. procedures, project artifacts, test cases, etc.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and maintenance records.
• Stay updated on emerging security technologies, threats, and industry trends, and recommend improvements.
