Job summary

HR Plus seeks a Senior Network Security Engineer in Hong Kong to design and implement advanced security solutions for a diverse client base. You will lead technical engagements, deliver 2nd line support, and contribute to security strategy across Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and F5 platforms.

The role requires hands-on firewall experience, networking know-how, and relevant certifications, with multilangual communication in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin preferred.

Qualifications

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in information security.
• Solid hands-on experience in one of the listing market-leading security products (Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5).
• Knowledge of networking, Linux/Unix, and security products (e.g. Firewall, R&S).
• Hands-on experience in large-scale project implementation and support.
• Professional qualifications (CISA, CISSP, CEH, CCNP Security) are a plus.
• Familiarity with ISO27001, PCI DSS, NIST.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Implementing security devices, including UTM, IPS, and WAF.
• Taking ownership of total solution design and implementation.
• Providing 2nd tier configuration and troubleshooting support.
• Performing patch management activities.
• Offering professional security advice to customers.
• Presenting and articulating the value proposition to customers at all levels within the organization, both technical and business audience.
• Driving new sales opportunities by proposing technical solutions, overseeing technology/product selection, scoping, and estimating resources required to deliver business value.
• Handling ad hoc projects or tasks as assigned.
• Willingness to work on-site and outside normal working hours if necessary.
