Job summary

Bachy Soletanche Singapore Pte. Ltd. in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage contractual correspondence, payment applications, and final accounts for main contractor projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, main contractor project experience preferred.
• Must have LTA project experience.
• Must be able to commit to working on alternate Saturdays (half day).
• Self-motivated and detailed minded.

Responsibilities

• Prepare contractual correspondence with Project Manager, submit claims notices promptly and in accordance with contractual timetable.
• Prepare and submit payment applications on due date, follow-up applications to ensure promote certificate and payment, and ensure final accounts are submitted in a timely manner and are agreed to maximum value.
• Prepare works orders for sub-contractors, prepare monthly payments and settle sub-contractor final accounts.
• Prepare monthly sales figures for Project Manager agreement and report monthly sub-contractor liabilities.
• Ensure that the works are measured correctly and to maximum extent allowed.
• Ensure insurance claims are notified promptly and claim particulars are submitted on time.
