A leading construction firm in Hong Kong is seeking a Project/Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage pre-contract and post-contract works independently including cost estimation and project budgeting. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of quantity surveying experience, strong numerical skills, and a good command of English and Chinese. Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years of quantity surveying experience is required.
• Experience in tendering or subletting is an advantage.
• Strong command of written & spoken English and Chinese.
• Strong numerical sense, excellent data interpretation & analytical skills.
• Self-motivated and strong sense of responsibility.
• Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Quantity Surveyor.

• Handle pre-contract and post-contract works independently.

Responsibilities:

• To handle pre-contract and post-contract works including subletting and negotiation skill, re-measurement, valuation of variation, cost estimation, extension of time claim, cash flow monitoring, certifying payment and final account settlement independently
• Developing cost planning and project budgeting
• Dealing with Sub-contractor’s account
• Handle contractual related issues.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / Degree or above in Quantity Surveying, Building Studies or related disciplines.
• 8 years or above of quantity surveying experience, site experience with contractor will be advantage
• Experience in tendering or subletting will be an advantage
• Strong numerical sense, excellent data interpretation & analytical skills
• Self-motivated and strong sense of responsibility
• Good commend of written & spoken English and Chinese
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Quantity Surveyor
