Job summary

Bachy Soletanche Singapore Pte. Ltd. in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage contractual correspondence, payment applications, and final accounts for main contractor projects.

The role requires LTA project experience and availability for alternate Saturdays. Strong attention to detail and self-motivation are essential in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering with at least 6 years of relevant experience,

Qualifications

Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, main contractor project experience preferred.
Must have LTA project experience.
Must be able to commit to working on alternate Saturdays (half day).
Self-motivated and detailed minded.

Responsibilities

Prepare contractual correspondence with Project Manager, submit claims notices promptly and in accordance with contractual timetable.
Prepare and submit payment applications on due date, follow-up applications to ensure promote certificate and payment, and ensure final accounts are submitted in a timely manner and are agreed to maximum value.
Prepare works orders for sub-contractors, prepare monthly payments and settle sub-contractor final accounts.
Prepare monthly sales figures for Project Manager agreement and report monthly sub-contractor liabilities.
Ensure that the works are measured correctly and to maximum extent allowed.
Ensure insurance claims are notified promptly and claim particulars are submitted on time.
