About the Job

As the key bridge to elite luxury retail brands, you will translate premium design concepts into flawless retail spaces. This role demands fluent English, an ultra-polished presence, and the cultural intelligence to seamlessly manage discerning international designers and brand directors. Leading an established internal team, you must possess the charisma to navigate distinct personalities on the ground while maintaining total ownership over regional project deadlines, budgets, and luxury-grade quality control.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Designer Relationship Management

Serve as the primary, high-touch liaison for European luxury retail clients, brand managers, and international design houses.

Translate complex technical site conditions into clear, polished solutions for non-technical brand stakeholders.

Host client walk-throughs, design workshops, and site progress meetings with poise, confidence, and professionalism.

Manage strict brand guidelines, premium material standards, and millwork quality expectations typical of European luxury houses.

Lead, motivate, and manage an established, long-tenured internal team of site supervisors, engineers, and craftsmen.

Navigate diverse personalities and established work styles within the existing team, fostering collaboration without disrupting proven technical strengths.

Balance client-driven changes with internal capabilities, acting as a diplomatic bridge between demanding luxury clients and local contractors.

Drive project milestones by utilizing strong coordination, commercial negotiation, and cross-functional team management skills.

Project Execution & Regional Operations

Oversee the end-to-end fit-out lifecycle from technical drawing approvals and landlord coordination to luxury-grade handover.

Take full accountability for project budgets, cash flows, progress claims, variations, and final accounts.

Manage regional operations across Hong Kong, Macau, and Mainland China, including frequent travel to sites and production facilities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above in Project Management, Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 8 years of experience with strong technical knowledge in the fitting-out industry; background in construction, decoration, or engineering preferred.

A natural communicator who is confident, articulate, and polished presence suitable for interacting with discerning corporate clients and artistic designers.

Total ownership of project outcomes, deadlines, and quality control, with a proactive approach to solving site issues before they escape.

Excellent coordination, negotiation, and team management skills

Deep operational knowledge of the Hong Kong, Macau and China markets

Fluent English is mandatory for navigating client relations. Proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is required for internal team management and local contractor coordination.

Full willingness to travel across the region to oversee premium site installation and production facilities.

Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Project Manager.
