Job summary

Decca (Mgt) Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor in Hong Kong. The role focuses on cost planning and budgeting, tender participation, and managing interim and final accounts for interior fit-out projects. Strong English and Chinese communication is essential, with Mandarin advantageous.

Minimum 3 years' QS experience, post-contract exposure, and willingness to travel to China are preferred. Immediate availability is a plus in our dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in QS, preferably in interior fit-out and A&A works.
• Good command of English and Chinese; Mandarin would be an advantage.
• Occasional travel to China is required.

Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor

A typical day in this role:

Cost planning, project budgeting and participate in tendering process.

Prepare interim payments to Client, assess payment to sub-contractors.

Drafting and submission of V.O. to Client and settlement of final account.

Measurement works, cost estimates.

Assist project team members in contractual issues and disputes.

About you:

Higher Diploma or Degree holder in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.

Minimum3 years experience of relevant experience in Q.S., preferably in Main Contractor of Interior Fit-out and A&A works.

Strong problem-solving, communication and negotiation skills.

Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and minimal supervision.

Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Post-contract experience is required.

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Mandarin will be an advantage.

Applicants with less experience will be considered as AQS.

Occasional travel to China is required.

Immediate available will be an advantage.
