China Overseas Land & Investment Ltd. in Hong Kong seeks a senior architectural professional to lead projects from feasibility through handover, ensuring premium design intent and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 10+ years with major property developers or top-tier practices, HKIA/AP status advantageous, and exceptional leadership with bilingual English and Chinese communication. On-site location at Hong Kong office.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master Degree in Architecture or related discipline.
Member of HKIA or equivalent; Authorized Person (AP) status advantageous.
Minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience with major property developers or top-tier architectural practices.
In-depth knowledge of local regulations and land administration procedures.
Strong leadership, analytical problem-solving, and negotiation skills; able to work under pressure.
Excellent command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

Responsibilities

Oversee the entire project development cycle from feasibility studies, master planning and schematic design, through to tender, construction and handover.
Rigorously review architectural drawings, material submissions and method statements to ensure alignment with premium brand standards and design intent.
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary external teams including lead architects, structural/MEP, QS and main contractors.
Liaise with Buildings Department, Lands Department and Planning Department to ensure timely submissions, approvals and compliance with all statutory requirements.
Monitor the project budget, manage variations, and proactively resolve site conflicts or design clashes to mitigate delays and cost overruns.
