Job summary

Hutchison Telecommunications (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an (Senior) Presales Consultant/Engineer to provide presales technical expertise, deliver in-depth product demonstrations, and coordinate POCs across IT infrastructure, networking, and cloud solutions.

You will train partners, respond to RFPs, and present tailored technical insights to clients at all levels, while staying abreast of industry trends and business needs in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• At least 4 years of technical experience with compute infrastructure solutions.
• Broad knowledge across network, security, servers, storage, database, virtualization, Cloud & AI.

(Senior) Presales Consultant/ Engineer (IT Infrastructure,System,Network,Cloud)

Technical Pre-Sales: Support the Sales team by providing presales technical expertise and delivering deep-dive product demonstrations to clients and business partners.

Partner Enablement: Deliver technical training to partners regarding specific product solutions.

Proposal Development: Prepare and refine high-quality technical responses for RFPs and RFIs.

Technical Presentations: Conduct professional client demonstrations and presentations tailored to business needs.

Validation & POCs: Coordinate and manage technical validation events (POC) and oversee the necessary technical assets.

Event Participation: Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions.

Strategic Insight: Maintain a strong understanding of customers’ business requirements and emerging industry trends.

General Support: Perform other related duties and administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirement

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Experience: At least 4 years of technical experience with a solid skillset in compute infrastructure solutions.

Technical Breadth: Broad knowledge across network, security, servers, storage, database, virtualization, backup, Cloud & AI solutions.

Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.

Mindset: Self-motivated, flexible, and highly attentive to clients’ specific needs and concerns.

Work Style: Able to thrive in a multi-tasking environment and manage a high volume of requests, including unplanned or unscheduled tasks.

Reliability: Capable of executing instructions accurately and proactive in requesting clarification when necessary.

Languages: Good command of both spoken and written English; proficiency in Mandarin is a distinct advantage.
