Job summary

Happy Concepts Food Limited is seeking a senior-level pastry chef to lead R&D and scale production in a central kitchen. You will design high-end desserts, oversee recipe standardization, and drive efficient batch production for B2B clients while maintaining top food safety standards.

You will manage a small kitchen team, mentor assistants, and ensure consistent quality and on-time delivery. A passion for baking, creativity, and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a commercial kitchen with product development and love of baking at scale.
• Experience managing a Central Kitchen with a small team.
• HACCP certified with strong food safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Product Development (R&D): Design and develop desserts for a premium mid-luxury client base.
• Kitchen Leadership & Scaling: Transition recipes to large-scale central kitchen production.
• Team Management & Consistency: Supervise and train a team of assistant chefs with focus on food safety and COGS.
• Quality & Safety Assurance: Enforce strict food safety, consistency, and portion controls.
