Mise En Place Talent is partnering with a prolific hospitality group in Asia to recruit an Executive Pastry Chef. You will lead pastry operations across a portfolio of venues, shaping pastry, dessert, bakery, and gelatería concepts while driving quality and profitability.

The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of pastry excellence, 5+ years in leadership, and a passion for creating exceptional experiences in a dynamic metropolitan dining scene.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of pastry experience in world-class organisations.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing diverse teams.
• A true passion for creating exceptional experiences.
• Versatility to develop and execute pastry, dessert, bakery, and gelatería programmes.
• Extremely detail-oriented with a drive for personal and team excellence.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Solid financial acumen with a track record of profitability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pastry operations across multiple venues within the group.
• Lead, mentor and develop pastry teams to deliver standout products.
• Develop and refine pastry, dessert, bakery and gelatería programmes.
• Maintain strict quality control and cost management to drive profitability.
• Coordinate R&D trips and educational experiences for the team.
• Support relocation and visa sponsorship as required.
