Job summary

Hong Kong Bank is seeking a Senior Officer to join the Strategic Planning & Customer Behavior Analysis Department in Hong Kong. The role focuses on customer behavioural analysis, channel analysis, and development of propensity models for cross-selling and retention, as well as marketing campaigns and business reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a university degree in data science, statistics or related disciplines, with at least 2 years of analytics experience in retail banking and proficiency

Qualifications

• University graduate in data science, statistics or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years experience in analytics for retail banking.
• Experience in campaign management and MIS reports.
• Experience in digital channel analysis preferable, including social media data.
• Strong written and spoken Chinese and English communication skills.
• Knowledge of SAS, R and Python preferable.

Responsibilities

Senior Officer, Strategic Planning & Customer Behavior Analysis

A reputable local Bank in Hong Kong with a well-established Branch Network is looking for a Senior Officer to join their Strategic Planning & Customer Behavior Analysis Department, responsible for customer behavioral analysis and evaluation, channel analysis, development and maintenance of propensity models for cross-selling and retention, marketing campaign management as well as business report compilation.

Responsibilities:

• The team member will help to conduct tasks for the business units in retail banking
• Identity business opportunities by performing the in-depth analysis for increasing the customer value through improved targeting and customer experience among various channels
• Work closely with business and channel teams on campaign management including campaign design and evaluation.
• Compile MIS business tracking reports

Requirements:

• University graduate major in data science, statistics, quantitative analysis or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years experience in analytics for retail banking
• Experienced in analytical skills, campaign management and MIS reports
• Experience in digital channel analysis is preferable, handling digital footprint data, and other data from social media to drive brand awareness, customer stickiness and other business potentials.
• Good communication skills and good written skills in both Chinese and English
• Knowledge in SAS programming, R and Python is preferable
• Experienced in data visualization tools is also preferable
