Job summary

The role focuses on pre-sales activities, solution demonstrations, PoC testing, and collaboration with sales to identify opportunities and provide technical evaluations.

Ideal candidates have 5–8+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure, network admin, and security engineering, with a diploma/degree in CS/IT/Networking and vendor certifications highly

Qualifications

• Typically 5 to 8+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, network administration, and security engineering.
• Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related discipline.
• Holder of networking and security vendor certifications is highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-sales activities including solution demonstrations, presentations, proof-of-concept (POC) testing, and proposal development.
• Collaborate with sales to identify opportunities, provide technical evaluation and partner training sessions.

Experience

Typically 5 to 8+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, network administration, and security engineering, preferably gained in (system integrators / distributor)

Education

Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.

Certifications

Holder of networking and security vendor certifications is highly preferred

Technical Expertise

• Solid hands-on experience in routing/switching/WI-FI protocols with solid deployment.
• Solid hands-on experience with network & security brands such as Cisco/Juniper/F5/Arista/Palo Alto/Illumio
• Hybrid cloud networking and containerized/virtualized network functions is an advantage
• Knowledge of Network and Application performance monitoring is an advantage

Soft Skills

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Good team spirit with proactive "can-do" attitude and under pressure.

Leadership & Mentorship

Guide junior and mid-level engineers, review pre/post-sales case and collaborate with cross-functional IT and development

Language

Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin to communicate effectively
