Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a senior IT leader to drive FinTech project delivery and oversee production services for complex platforms. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, regulators, and industry bodies to design and implement strategic technology plans.

The role requires extensive experience in IT leadership within financial institutions, strong governance skills, and proficiency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in information technology or FinTech solution department, with at least 5 years in a managerial role for Senior Manager; over 8 years with 3 years in management for Manager.
• Strong team management across enterprise/solution architects, engineers, SREs, DevOps, cybersecurity engineers.
• Experience in portfolio governance, agile delivery, and modern tech stacks including microservices.

Responsibilities

Duties

• Serve a permanent position to a financial institution;
• Responsible for the delivery of the FinTech projects and management of the production service of FinTech platforms;
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, such as Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Hong Kong Association of Banks and financial sector, to explore and develop new technological solutions;
• Assist the division head to formulate and implement technological policy, strategic plan and transformation plan to meet the business and regulatory requirements;
• Manage multiple cross-functional delivery teams with internal divisions and external stakeholders;
• Manage the overall delivery planning and resources allocation for the division, handle risk, assumption, issue, dependency and synergy of projects at division level, and manage regular project status reporting to both internal and external stakeholders;
• Manage and coach the team to build secure, reliable and interoperate technological solutions.

Requirements

• University degree in information technology or related disciplines;
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in information technology or FinTech solution department of which at least 5 years at managerial level in major financial institutions for Senior Manager; over 8 years’ experience with 3 years at managerial level for Manager;
• Strong team management skill of multiple technology teams consisting of enterprise/ solution architects, engineers, test automation engineers, DevOps engineers, cybersecurity engineers, and site reliability engineers;
• Strong portfolio management skills with multiple cross-functional delivery teams using agile methodology, and able to design and deliver solutions with modern technologies;
• Strong experience in enterprise architecture and solution design for large scale distributed applications with modern technology stacks and microservice architecture;
• Strong experience in managing delivery of multiple concurrent projects at portfolio level, and be proactively able to handle risk, assumption, issue, dependency and synergy;
• Strong experience in project governance to ensure application are secure, reliable and interoperable;
• Strong experience in change management, incident management and problem management;
• Experience with site reliability engineering is good to have, but not mandatory;
• In-depth knowledge of emerging FinTech trends and technologies;
• Good understanding of the regulatory landscape in the financial sector;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese as well as proficiency in Putonghua.
