Job summary

St. James’ Settlement is seeking an experienced IT infrastructure lead to design and deliver complex IT projects, including network upgrades, cloud migrations, and new office builds in Wan Chai. You will act as a Level 2/3 escalation point for infrastructure issues and oversee end-to-end IT delivery.

The role requires deep networking and virtualization knowledge, cloud experience (Azure), and strong vendor management. Travel to sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of IT infrastructure experience with at least 2 years in senior/project-leading roles.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise networking, virtualization, cloud platforms, and ITSM systems.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end IT setups for new offices, including budgeting and contractor management.
• Experience developing AI agents in Copilot Studio, including topic/entity/variable management and features.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute complex IT projects: large-scale network upgrades, cloud migrations, and new office builds.
• Act as escalation point (Level 2/3) for complex infrastructure, network, system, and server issues.
• Architect, optimise, and maintain enterprise network topologies (firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi controllers) and hybrid servers.
• Enforce inventory control, software compliance, and lifecycle management for corporate IT assets.
• Negotiate contracts, evaluate performance, and hold external vendors to SLAs.
• Manage and test corporate backup systems, failover mechanisms, and DR plans.
• Define network security baselines, manage IAM, and ensure data security policies for remote branches.
• Design and deploy AI agents using Copilot Studio to support service operations and automate workflows.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to IT team; support project-related tasks as needed.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, or a related field

6+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 2 years in a senior or project-leading capacity

Deep knowledge of enterprise networking, virtualisation (Hyper-V/Nutanix), cloud platforms (Azure), and enterprise ITSM systems

Proven track record of independently managing end-to-end IT setup for new offices, including budgeting and contractor management

Proven experience developing AI agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio, including managing topics, entities, variables, and generative AI features

CCNA, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, or ITIL Foundation certification is highly preferred

Willing to travel between sites and handle network equipment and IT hardware

Exceptional customer service mindset with the ability to support non-technical users patiently, politely, and empathetically

Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in simple, everyday language

Experience in NGO, social services, or public sector is an advantage

Job Duties:

Define network security baselines, manage identity access, and ensure compliance with data security policies and site-to-site VPNs for remote branches

Manage and monitor security patches, access controls, and endpoint protection

Design and deploy AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio to support service operations and automate workflows

Provide technical guidance, configuration reviews, and mentorship to the IT team

Provide additional support for project-related tasks as required, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to evolving project needs
