The IT Manager will co-lead the IT Department of the St. James Settlement, championing the strategic use of technology to drive service innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and facilitate data-driven decision-making. This role requires a blend of strategic oversight, project management, team leadership, and hands-on technical expertise to ensure that the IT infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity measures robustly support the objectives and its service delivery.
Job Duties
- Strategic Leadership and Planning: Lead the development and execution of the IT strategic plan that aligns with organizational goals, enhancing service delivery and operational efficiency through emerging technologies. Regularly review IT systems to recommend and implement necessary improvements
- Innovation and Service Improvement: Explore new technologies and innovations to enhance service delivery, user experience, and operational efficiency. Provide strategic IT guidance and support to service departments for technology-driven projects
- Cybersecurity Leadership: Lead cybersecurity initiatives, conduct risk assessments, and implement defense strategies to protect organizational data and IT assets. Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures, including user education and compliance monitoring
- Project and Vendor Management: Oversee IT project management from initiation to deployment, ensuring timely, on-budget, and within-scope delivery. Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to align with organizational needs and ensure quality service
- Infrastructure and Application Management: Manage IT infrastructure and applications to ensure reliability, scalability, and security. Oversee cloud environments, network systems, server operations, and software applications in line with best practices and regulatory standards
- Team Management and Development: Manage and develop the IT team, promoting a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and high performance. Assign responsibilities effectively to ensure efficient IT operations and project delivery
