Job summary

Degree holder, preferably in social work / social science or related disciplines

HKCEE 5 passes [incl. English (Syl. B) & Chinese at grade E or above] or equivalent

At least 5 years of experience in the social welfare sector with a proven track record in service management

Strategic, dynamic, great interpersonal skills, innovative, with strong leadership skills

Excellent command of written & spoken English and Chinese

Job Duties

• Lead the strategic development of partnerships with district stakeholders, expanding engagement in district-based communities that enhance sustainability and community impact
• Execute strategic initiatives in the Northern Metropolis/other potential districts by developing sustainable service models, identifying opportunities from new communities, population growth, and government policies, and strengthening regional impact
• Drive the growth of the digital platform ecosystem through strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable business models that support long-term growth
• Lead the development of the young-old network, creating new opportunities for active ageing, skills-based volunteering, social participation, and community contribution

"Founded by the Rt. Rev. Bishop R.O. Hall of the Anglican Church in 1949, St. James’ Settlement began as a club for boys and girls in a temple in Stone Nullah Lane, Wanchai. It was then developed into a six-storey building on Kennedy Road in 1963 to provide diversified services, including children and youth services, elderly services and rehabilitation services. In 1987, the headquarters was opened in Stone Nullah Lane so that the scope of services could be further extended."
