WallStone Partners & Company Limited is seeking an Institutional sales professional at AVP-Director level in Hong Kong. The role focuses on developing and maintaining a network of institutional investors across Pre-IPO, IPO and placement stages, including PE, hedge funds, family offices and asset managers, to drive deal flow.

Qualifications

• Degree holder or above in Finance, Investment or related discipline(s).
• Possess 3-10 years of institutional equity sales experience with proven client coverage in HK/China for cash equity or delta one.
• Regulatory criteria for licensed activities must be met.
• Strong communication skills to articulate market themes and distribution strategies to sophisticated investors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a network of institutional investors across Pre-IPO, IPO and placement stages (PE, long-only, hedge funds, family offices, asset managers).
• Support project execution and investor communications to improve order quality and deal completion probability.
• Source and manage shareholder-side needs such as large-scale sell-downs, liquidity monetisation and structured exits.
• Match investor demand and design execution approaches with trading desk to control market impact and risks.
• Drive cross-functional coordination with IBD, trading, research, legal & compliance and ops to ensure timely milestones and risk flags.
• Develop annual account and pipeline plans for key clients to ensure visible progress.
