Job summary

An international European engineering and technology group seeks a Senior Sales Engineer in Hong Kong to manage project pipelines and expand the HVAC solutions footprint across commercial developments, data centers, hospitals and infrastructure projects.

You will build relationships with MEP consultants, developers, main contractors and HVAC trade contractors, manage end-to-end tender submissions, present technical solutions, and drive sales quotas while tracking market trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4–6 years of technical sales experience in HVAC, building services, or mechanical engineering industry.
• Established industry network with local MEP consultants, building contractors, developers, and HVAC sub-contractors.
• Demonstrated track record in tender management, commercial negotiation, and client presentations.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across Hong Kong.
• Build and maintain relationships with MEP consultants, developers, main contractors, and HVAC trade contractors to secure product specifications and tenders.
• Manage end-to-end tender submissions, analyzing technical specs, reviewing equipment selections, estimating costs, and submitting competitive bids.
• Liaise with application engineers and project execution teams to ensure lead times and contract fulfillment.
• Conduct technical presentations and product seminars for engineers and clients to showcase HVAC equipment and smart control systems.
• Achieve and exceed annual sales quotas, order intake goals, and margin targets.
• Track market trends and competitor movements to guide commercial strategies.
