Job summary

RecruitFirst Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer to drive technical consultative sales, project execution, and business development in engineering, HVAC, and energy efficiency solutions.

You will analyze energy consumption and BMS data, prepare quotations, and lead tender submissions while collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. Fluency in English and Chinese is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering or related field.
• Experience in sales, business development, or application engineering in engineering/building services/HVAC.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and energy-efficiency solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and key accounts.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and lead tender submissions for engineering/HVAC projects.
• Analyze building operations and energy data to demonstrate energy-saving solutions.
• Collaborate with internal engineering/software teams, suppliers, and clients to deliver projects.

About the role

We are seeking ambitious and results-driven sales professionals to join our growing team. Depending on your experience and expertise, you will focus on driving technical consultative sales, project execution, or leading business development initiatives in engineering, HVAC, and energy efficiency solutions.

Key responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities, handle client accounts, and achieve sales targets

Manage client engagement, prepare quotations, proposals, and lead tender submissions for complex engineering/HVAC projects

Analyze building operations, energy consumption, and BMS data to demonstrate actionable energy-saving solutions to clients

Work closely with internal engineering/software teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure successful project deployment and customer satisfaction

Provide guidance and support to junior sales team members and lead strategic sales initiatives

About you

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related technical disciplines

Proven track record in Sales, Business Development, or Application Engineering within engineering, building services, HVAC, or construction domains

Familiarity with HVAC systems, Energy Efficiency solutions, Building Management Systems (BMS), or AutoCAD

Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in both English and Chinese
