Job summary

PIMCO funds in Hong Kong seek an experienced Fund Operations professional to coordinate cash flows, NAV reviews and investor servicing. You will liaise with fund administrators, auditors and compliance teams to ensure timely financial reporting and accurate fee disclosures.

Role involves project work, process improvements and oversight of service providers to maintain quality and regulatory alignment. Strong analytical skills and HK regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred; CFA or similar postgraduate study is a plus.
• 6+ years’ experience within Fund Operations of an Asset Management firm is preferred.
• Understanding of the Hong Kong Unit Trust Regulatory environment.
• Ability to learn quickly, inquisitive, and capable of handling multiple projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective stakeholder communication.
• Well-organised and able to prioritise competing deadlines; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Fund Cash Flows - coordinate information about cash flows and funding requirements for PIMCO Funds and communicate to trade floor teams.
• Fund NAVs - review NAVs calculated by the Fund Administrator to ensure accuracy before market release.
• Investor Servicing - oversee Registry for onboarding, AML/KYC, transactions monitoring, queries from investors.
• Fund Financial Reporting & Audit - coordinate with Fund Administrator and Auditor for annual/semi-annual statements for HK funds.
• Fund Distributions & Tax Deliverables - manage monthly/quarterly distributions and related reporting.
• Fee & Cost Disclosures - produce and validate disclosures; source data with tech teams for account management.
• Fund Fees - oversee management fees, accruals, invoices, and rebate arrangements.
• Service Provider Oversight & Incident Management - vendor oversight and due diligence; coordinate with Legal & Compliance on incidents.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects to improve processes and implement internal or vendor changes.
