Job summary

Wealth Management Cube Limited is seeking an Associate, Fund Operations in Hong Kong to handle daily fund operations, trade entry, and reconciliations using PMS. You will monitor settlements, corporate actions, and cash management, working with brokers and fund administrators.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and 2–5 years' experience in fund operations. Mandarin is required, English/Cantonese encouraged, with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in fund administrator or asset management operations.
• Strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; Python knowledge is an advantage.
• Understanding of financial instruments including equities, fixed income, Quantitative Trading, etc.
• Mandarin fluency; Cantonese and/or English proficiency encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily fund operations, including trade entry and affirmation via PMS, and monitor trade settlement status.
• Conduct daily reconciliations of trades, cash, and positions against custodians.
• Liaise with brokers, fund administrators, and system vendors to investigate and resolve trade, cash, and position breaks.
• Process and monitor corporate actions events.
• Manage cash operations, including margin and collateral monitoring and facilitation of payments.
• Prepare and review weekly NAV estimates.
• Liaise with fund administrators to resolve NAV-related issues.
• Review NAV, P&L, and valuation reports to ensure accuracy of accounting entries and consistency with fund administrator records.
• Monitor fund capital activities, including subscriptions and redemptions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline operational processes and improve internal workflows.
• Support risk management and finance functions, including operational controls and annual fund audits.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned
