Job summary

China Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Fund Operations Officer to support day-to-day operations of the firm's funds, including valuation, settlement, and reporting. You will collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Fund Administrators, custodians, brokers, and auditors to ensure accurate, compliant operations.

The role requires 1–2 years in fund operations, a finance-related degree, fluency in Mandarin and English, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
1–2 years in fund operations, middle office, fund administration, custody, or related functions.
Understanding of fund operations, trade lifecycle, valuation, and settlement processes.
Attention to detail with high accuracy in data review and reporting.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Fluent in Mandarin and English with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Perform daily middle-office operations for internally managed funds, including valuation and settlement.
Monitor and reconcile fund transactions, cash positions, holdings, and portfolio activity.
Liaise with fund managers, fund administrators, custodians, brokers, auditors, and service providers.
Assist in fund filings, regulatory reporting, audits, and maintenance of fund records/databases.
Support launch and onboarding of new investment products and fund structures.
Prepare and review investor statements, client reports, and other fund reports.
Conduct due diligence reviews and service assessments of counterparties and service providers.
Investigate and resolve operational issues, discrepancies, and exceptions promptly.
Maintain operational procedures and ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Support ad hoc operational projects as required.
