Job summary

Hong Kong Job Consulting is seeking an Assistant Fund Operation Manager to oversee daily fund operations, including investment dealing orders and settlements. You will ensure proper authorization and control and support month-end closing with accurate accounting and reconciliations.

You will collaborate with custody banks and cross-functional teams to enhance the back-office system, review policies, and implement controls to mitigate risk while driving efficiency in fund processes.

Qualifications

• Accounting/Finance/Investment degree required.
• Minimum 5 years in investment fund operations.
• Familiar with fund operations process and control.
• Knowledge of back-office systems (Oracle, SUN, LifeAsia) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a checker for daily fund operations, including orders and settlements.
• Support Finance Reporting for month-end investment closing with accuracy.
• Maintain contact with custody bank.
• Manage investment back office system and coordinate system enhancements.
• Formulate and review investment back office policies and controls.
• Establish control measures to reduce risk in fund processes.
• Participate in fund projects as subject matter expert.
• Review and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
