Aberdeen Boat Club Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Captain to help supervise daily food and beverage operations and lead the service team during shifts. You will coordinate with kitchen and bar teams, provide wine recommendations, and ensure high standards of service, grooming, and cleanliness.

The role requires hands-on leadership, English communication, and flexibility to work across different F&B outlets and on weekends or holidays. Attractive salary and excellent benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience at Senior Captain level or above.
• Experience leading service shifts in a restaurant or club.
• Basic wine knowledge and standard wine service procedures.
• Hands-on, service-focused approach and team collaboration.
• Good spoken English for daily member service and team communication.
• Willing to work across different F&B outlets and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Floor Manager in supervising daily F&B operations, including opening and closing duties.
• Lead the service team during assigned shifts and work with staff on taking orders, serving meals and maintaining service areas.
• Work across the Club’s F&B outlets and support private events as required.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Provide basic wine recommendations and present, open and serve wines according to service procedures.
• Guide and train service staff, ensuring consistent service, grooming and cleanliness.
• Handle routine member enquiries and service concerns, escalate as needed.
• Assist with billing, stock checks and replenishment.
