Job summary

West Kowloon Cultural District Authority is seeking a senior development leader to drive fundraising, sponsorship and major gifts for WestK Performing Arts. You will expand donor networks, oversee memberships and collaborate with Arts teams to align strategies.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in fundraising with 8+ in a supervisory role, preferably in arts/culture, and a proven track record with corporations or high-net-worth donors. Fluency in English and Chinese is essential.

Qualifications

10+ years in development, sponsorship and fundraising
8+ years in a supervisory or senior role, preferably in arts/cultural organisations
Proven track record of raising funds from corporations or high-net-worth groups
Strong interpersonal skills with large-scale business corporations
Excellent donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship
Outstanding presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills
Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to expand major donor and sponsor networks
Cultivate and solicit major gift donors and oversee memberships
Monitor fundraising metrics, analyze data, and report trends and revenue forecasts
Oversee sponsorship proposals, memberships and donor relations
Collaborate with Performing Arts and other departments to align fundraising strategies
Lead and guide team to achieve fundraising targets
Ensure data management and compliance for sponsorships, memberships and major gifts
