Job summary

Hong Kong Housing Society seeks an IT support specialist to deliver deskside and remote assistance for hardware, software, and network issues in a fast-paced environment.

You will install and maintain desktop OS, software, and peripherals, perform routine maintenance, and collaborate with the tech team to ensure smooth service delivery. Relevant ITIL knowledge and bilingual abilities in English and Chinese are preferred.

Qualifications

• High Diploma or equivalent in Computer Science/Information Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on IT support experience, with deskside or end-user computing focus preferred.
• Experience in SCCM and using a ticketing system is advantageous.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based processes is preferable.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as updates and patches.
• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain the tracking and inventory update of all IT equipment.
• Other ad-hoc assignments as assigned.

The Person:

• High Diploma or equivalent in Computer Science / Information Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support roles, with a strong preference for deskside or end-user computing support.
• Experience in SCCM and a ticketing system is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based processes is preferable.
• Strong ability to analyse reported issues and findings for effective technical troubleshooting.
• Good team player, self-motivated, and good communication skills.
• Able to work independently under pressure.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
