Job summary

New World Development Company Limited is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to own digital platform projects in Hong Kong. You will bridge business stakeholders, vendors, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end improvements rooted in solid process mapping and BRD creation.

The role requires strong SDLC discipline, hands-on AI/automation delivery, and experience with Azure/Power Platform and Oracle Financials.

Qualifications

• Experience with SDLC and leading end-to-end projects from discovery to launch.
• Hands-on delivery of AI/automation initiatives (OCR, GPT/LLM, RPA) is preferred.
• Ability to drive discussions across business, vendor and technical stakeholders with a user focus.
• Proven track record delivering digital platform projects in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering, process mapping, and BRD / user story authoring; manage backlog prioritisation with product owners.
• Drive end-to-end project delivery: scoping, planning, milestone tracking, risk management, UAT, go-live, and hypercare.
• Deliver digital platform initiatives from user journey design to launch, partnering with UX, engineering, and QA.
• Support AI / automation use cases (e.g. document OCR, GPT-based extraction); define success metrics, data requirements, and governance.
• Drive workflow transformation initiatives (e.g. Procure-to-Pay), aligning processes with ERP and related systems.

Overview

This role is responsible for managing business-critical projects and workflow systems. You will drive end-to-end delivery of digital platforms, AI-enabled solutions, and enterprise workflow transformation — bridging business stakeholders, vendors, and engineering squads to streamline processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering, process mapping, and BRD / user story authoring; manage backlog prioritisation with product owners
• Drive end-to-end project delivery: scoping, planning, milestone tracking, risk management, UAT, go-live, and hypercare
• Deliver digital platform initiatives from user journey design to launch, partnering with UX, engineering, and QA
• Support AI / automation use cases (eg. document OCR, GPT-based extraction); define success metrics, data requirements, and governance
• Drive workflow transformation initiatives (e.g. Procure-to-Pay), aligning processes with ERP and related systems

Requirements

• 4+ years as a Business Analyst with hands-on project management experience
• Proven delivery of digital platform projects from discovery to launch
• Able to lead a project end-to-end — from requirement discussions, to writing BRDs with strong business sense, through solution discussions with system analysts
• Possess excellent communication skills — able to drive discussion and align business, vendor, and technical stakeholders, with a strong user focus
• Have strong command of SDLC and the ability to secure each phase on schedule
• Able to solve problems independently
• Hands‑on exposure to AI / automation delivery (GPT / LLM, OCR, RPA, AI agents, or equivalent) is preferred
• Experience with Azure / Power Platform, Oracle Financials, or AI platforms is preferred
• Working knowledge of enterprise workflow cycles or ERP integration (Oracle, SAP) is preferred
