Job summary

Leadingnation is seeking a Senior Business Analyst, Digital Solutions to partner with business units, translate goals into actionable user stories, and drive solution delivery with internal teams and external partners.

You will map processes, refine requirements, and ensure backlog quality while collaborating with product owners, developers, QA, and vendors to deliver high-quality outcomes across digital initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in business analysis, digital solutions, or technology-enabled transformation.
• Strong experience gathering requirements and converting needs into structured user stories and functional specs in Agile environments.
• Proven ability to build stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Solid understanding of digital platforms, system integrations, data flows, and enterprise applications.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365 preferred, plus process modelling tools like Visio or Miro.
• Experience with AI-enabled productivity tools to improve documentation and stakeholder communication is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Refine requirements for consistency, reusability, and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with users, product owners, PMs, developers, QA, architects, and vendors to ensure clear, complete, testable requirements.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, solution evaluation, UAT, release readiness, and training materials.
• Document and maintain BRDs, user stories, process flows, diagrams, test scenarios, release notes, and training materials.
• Assist users in adopting new solutions and perform ad hoc IT management duties.

The Senior Business Analyst, Digital Solutions is responsible for partnering closely with business units to understand business goals, operational pain points, and customer or user needs, and translating them into clear, detailed, and actionable requirements for delivery teams.

Based in Head Quarters and reporting to the IT digital platform leader, this role acts as a trusted liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving discovery, process improvement, backlog quality, and solution alignment across digital initiatives.

This position is expected to build strong working relationships across business units, develop a deep understanding of the business, and support solution standardization and adoption aligned with business priorities.

What you’ll be doing:

• Maintain strong relationships with business units and act as a trusted partner in shaping priorities, resolving requirement gaps, and supporting cross-functional alignment.
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process reviews, and translate them into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements to drive high-quality delivery outcomes from internal teams and external vendors.
• Map current and future business processes, identify pain points and improvement opportunities, and recommend practical digital solutions that align with business and operational needs.
• Lead business and integration requirement discussions with internal business units and external partners, translating business needs into clear and actionable solution proposals.
• Facilitate alignment across business units and stakeholders on key design decisions, feature requirements, and change impacts, particularly for shared platforms or modules.
• Analyse and refine requirements from multiple stakeholders to ensure consistency, reusability, clean design, and compliance with standards and best practices.
• Work closely with business users, product owners, project managers, developers, QA teams, architects, and vendors to ensure requirements are clear, complete, testable, and understood by all parties.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, solution evaluation, user acceptance testing, release readiness, documentation, and post-implementation review activities.
• Review, update, prepare, and maintain relevant documentation, including business requirement documents, user stories, process flows, functional diagrams, test scenarios, release notes, and training materials, to reflect approved system, process changes and support delivery readiness.
• Support change implementation activities by preparing training materials, user guides, training, and user manuals, and by assisting users in adopting new solutions and processes.
• Perform any ad hoc IT management duties as assigned.

About you:

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline, with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in business analysis, digital solutions, or technology-enabled transformation.
• Strong experience working with multiple business departments to gather requirements, analyse business processes, and convert needs into structured user stories and functional specifications in Agile delivery environments.
• Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, understand business operations deeply, and communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Good understanding of digital platforms, system integrations, APIs, data flows, and enterprise applications, with the ability to bridge business needs and technical delivery without requiring hands on programming responsibility.
• Experience in airline, airport, hospitality, travel, or related service industries is strongly preferred.
• Communicate clearly and credibly with business users and senior stakeholders, while building and maintaining strong working relationships across functions. Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, and problem‑thinking
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365 is preferred, with familiarity in process modelling and collaboration tools such as Visio, Miro, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Figma to create visual designs, wireframes, and low-fidelity solution concepts is preferred.
• Practical experience using AI-enabled productivity tools to improve requirement documentation, meeting summarization, process analysis, and stakeholder communication is an advantage.
• Practical ability to prototype new enterprise platform features using AI-enabled tools is an advantage.
• Flexible to support occasional work outside normal business hours and travel when required to meet project, stakeholder, or business needs.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is mandatory.
