Job summary

HR Plus is seeking a Senior/Building Services Engineer in Hong Kong to join a leading construction team. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising E&M installations on major building projects, ensuring compliance with BEAM+/LEED standards.

The ideal candidate has a Higher Diploma or above in BS/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and proficient English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in BS / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
• Min 3 years' experience in construction projects, preferably from an E/M sub-contracting company.
• Experience with BEAM-plus/LEED environment assessment standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, progress reports, programmes, working schedules, planning, monitoring and inspecting E&M installations.
• Meet with clients & sub-contractors and arrange client inspections.

Job Description

About our client:Our client is a renowned leading construction company in Hong Kong. Due to an ongoing demand for multiple new building projects, they are looking for BS Engineers and Senior BS Engineers at all levels to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for prepare shop drawings, material, method statement submission, progress report, programme & working schedule, planning, monitoring and inspecting E&M systems installation, material procurement;
• Meeting with clients & sub-contractor and arrange client inspection.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma holder or above in BS / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related disciplines;
• 3 years or above relevant experience in construction project, solid experience in Electrical / HVAC / MVAC / Plumbing and Drainage is preferably gained from an E/M Sub-contracting Company;
• Experience in projects governed by recognized environmental assessment standards, like BEAM-plus, LEED will be advantage;
• Able to coordinate, supervise and work independently;
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;
• Conversant in BIM application will be advantage;
• Competency in MS Office / MS Project applications / AutoCAD;
• Good interpersonal, project management and site supervision skills;
