Job summary

Hip Hing Construction Co Ltd, a leading main contractor in Hong Kong, seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee building services installations on site. You will coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors, monitor progress and quality, and chair meetings across client, utilities and coordination forums.

You will supervise testing and commissioning activities to ensure timely handover to the client, ensure compliance with HK Regulations, and lead a team through project

Qualifications

• Experience in managing building services installations on construction sites.
• Ability to coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Familiarity with HK regulations and statutory requirements.
• Strong command of English and Chinese (spoken and written).
• Leadership and safety-oriented mindset required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project management, on-site supervision and coordination with client, consultants and subcontractors for building services installation.
• Monitor progress and quality of building services works.
• Attend client meetings, site meetings and coordination meetings; chair BS coordination meetings.
• Supervise and monitor testing and commissioning to ensure timely handover to client.

Job description

Responsible for project management, on site supervision, coordination with client, consultants and subcontractors for building services installation in construction projects.

Monitor the progress and quality of building services works.

Attend client meeting, site meeting, utilities meeting and chair BS coordination meeting.

Supervise and monitor the progress of testing and commissioning works to ensure timely completion for handover to client.

Requirements

• Degree in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Corporate member of HKIE (Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services discipline) or equivalent.
• Registered Energy Assessor is preferred.
• 15 years of relevant experience in building construction projects, in which at least 10 years post-professional experience at supervisory level.
• Familiar with Hong Kong Government Regulations and Statutory Requirements.
• Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese.
