Job summary

Hip Hing Construction Co., Ltd. is seeking a Building Services/Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to oversee site activities in Hong Kong.

You will attend meetings with developers and consultants, monitor quality and progress of BS works, and supervise testing and commissioning to ensure compliance with standards. The role requires a degree in Building Services/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience and good command of English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services / Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with 5 years relevant experience.
• MHKIE (BS / Mech / Elect Eng) or Chartered Engineer (MCIBSE / MIMechE / MIET) preferable.
• Experience in B.S. systems of medium or large scale Building projects is essential.
• Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings with Developer, Architect and Consultants.
• Monitor quality and progress of BS works and related activities.
• Oversee testing and commissioning.
• Resolve conflicts on site.
• Identify and resolve design problems with Consultants.
• Monitor statutory submissions and inspections.
• Coordinate with utility companies.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Supervise and guide junior engineers.
