Job summary

Ambition is seeking an experienced Application Support professional to oversee securities trading systems, including stock options and futures platforms. The role emphasizes delivering high-availability production support, incident resolution, and seamless deployments.

Ideal candidates have a strong foundation in Java, SQL, APIs, and DB2, with fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, enabling effective communication with diverse stakeholders in a demanding capital markets environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day production support for securities, stock options, and futures trading systems, ensuring high system availability and stability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents for web and mobile trading applications, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
• Monitor system performance, investigate production issues, and coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Support application deployments, system upgrades, release activities, and change management processes.
• Manage and maintain application infrastructure, including IIS, WebSphere Application Server (WAS), load balancers, SSL certificates, and database connectivity.
• Participate in projects and enhancement initiatives, providing technical expertise and ensuring smooth implementation with minimal business disruption.
