Job summary

Guotai Junan International Holdings Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a day-to-day application support specialist for Global Markets, FICC, and Asset Management lines. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in application development or support.
• Scripting languages: Python, Shell, and Windows Batch for task automation and monitoring.
• Experience in Java, SQL, FIX, Linux.
• Experience with Bloomberg AIMS/TOMS, MiddleX, and Broadridge OMS.
• Experience with upstream and downstream applications.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud deployment technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive team player with clear, confident communication.
• Excellent communication in English and Chinese.

Job description

Provide day-to-day application support for Global Markets, FICC, and Asset Management business lines.

Maintain and enhance the application monitoring platform to ensure the stability and reliability of production systems.

Liaise directly with business users to understand requirements and translate them into actionable support solutions.

Collaborate closely with development teams, and third-party vendors to follow up on production issues and change requests.

Provide support to the electronic trading platform, with working knowledge of algorithmic strategies.

Support the structured product platform, including product setup, pricing/valuation data flow, and lifecycle event processing.

Participate in and support the annual Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and failover testing exercises.

Requirements
