Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant (Management Accounting) to manage full-set accounting operations and oversee daily financial transactions. The role requires strong accounting fundamentals and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key duties include GL maintenance, month-end closing, accounts payable/receivable, treasury, and balance sheet reconciliations, with Hong Kong statutory reporting experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
• HKICPA/ACCA/CPA Australia or equivalent preferred.
• 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience with full set accounting.
• Hands-on experience with AP, AR, treasury, bank reconciliation, month-end closing.
• Experience handling audits, tax matters, and statutory reporting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, NetSuite) and Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good command of Cantonese and English.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts independently, including general ledger maintenance and month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Manage daily accounting transactions: receipts, payments, journals, and fund movements.
• Review and process invoices, expense claims, and payment requests.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Ensure accounting records are maintained accurately and in compliance with standards and policies.
• Assist with monthly management accounts and financial analysis.
• Monitor transaction flows and ensure proper supporting documentation is maintained.
