Job summary

Michael Page (Hong Kong) is seeking an experienced Accountant/Senior Accountant to join our finance team and own the financial reporting and month-end closing processes. You will handle full-set reporting, perform group consolidation, and liaise with regional teams to ensure accurate and timely disclosures.

The role requires a degree in accounting or related fields, professional qualification preferred, and at least 5 years of relevant experience with HKFRS/IFRS knowledge.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or related discipline and professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Solid knowledge of HKFRS/IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience in trading, sourcing, manufacturing or multinational corporations preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Handle full-set financial reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations and schedules.
• Assist in group reporting and consolidation processes.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and company policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and assist with statutory audit requirements.
• Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to management.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and finance-related projects.
• Liaise with overseas offices and regional finance teams on reporting matters.

• Solid knowledge of HKFRS/IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in English and Chinese(Cantonese and Mandarin).
