Job summary

Glow Salon in Central, Hong Kong, seeks an enthusiastic and professional Receptionist to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for clients, delivering excellent customer service and keeping the salon running smoothly on a busy day.

Responsibilities include greeting clients, handling bookings across multiple channels, coordinating with hairdressers, managing POS, and maintaining a welcoming front-of-house. The role supports day-to-day operations with the salon owners.

Qualifications

• Excellent command of spoken and written English and/or Cantonese.
• Previous experience in a salon, spa, or customer-facing hospitality/retail environment.
• Strong computer literacy and confidence using messaging platforms and social media.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Well-groomed, presentable, and comfortable interacting face-to-face with clients.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet clients upon arrival and manage the client lounge and beverage service.
• Handle appointment bookings and client inquiries across phone, email, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram.
• Coordinate client timing and liaise directly with our hairdressers and therapists.
• Manage POS systems, process payments (cash/card), and handle daily payment reconciliations and petty cash.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-stocked front-of-house area.
• Oversee deliveries, mail, online orders, and coordinate with service technicians as needed.
• Work closely with the salon owners to support day-to-day operations.
