Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Leadership, you will be responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies, leading a high-performing sales team, and expanding market share within the laboratory and diagnostics sector.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across healthcare, laboratory, research, and scientific markets.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales professionals to maximize performance and customer engagement.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, presentations, and commercial negotiations to prospective and existing customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and strategic customers to drive long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with technical support, field application specialists, and service teams to ensure exceptional customer experience.
- Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and customer data within CRM systems.
- Participate in regional and global business reviews, providing insights into market performance and growth opportunities.
- Support product portfolio management, including product positioning, commercialization, and market development initiatives.
- Lead new product launches, customer training programs, application support, and post‑launch performance monitoring.
- Organize scientific seminars, demonstrations, workshops, and customer engagement events.
- Partner with Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Supply Chain, and other business functions to ensure successful project execution and compliance with company policies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Sales Manager should have:
- Proven track record in sales with at least 5 years experience within scientific, laboratory, diagnostics, medical device, healthcare, or life sciences sectors industry.
- At least 2 years of team leadership, coaching, or people management experience.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed commercial targets while growing market share.
- Demonstrated success in building long-term customer relationships and managing complex sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- A proactive, customer‑centric mindset with a passion for scientific innovation and commercial excellence.
