Johnson Controls in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Retrofit Sales Engineer to drive HVAC/BMS/Fire Retrofit projects. You will support client engagement with consultants and contractors to secure retrofit contracts and ensure design specifications align with project scope and local regulations.

You will develop energy-improvement solutions, assess tenders, and coordinate with sales to meet annual targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction and project performance.

Competenze

• Degree holder or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' HVAC/BMS/Security/Fire related sales experience.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
• Effective project execution including cash flow planning and monitoring.
• Strong selling, influencing and negotiation skills with good interpersonal abilities.

What you will do

You will join the HVAC/BMS/Security/Fire Retrofit Sales team in Hong Kong. You will support the sales activities and help to achieve yearly sales target, ensure the design specification of HVAC/BMS/Security/Fire Retrofits are within project scope and comply with the requirements of local authorities and clients.

How you will do it

• Support the team to work with clients, consultants and contractors to get the Retrofit, Fitting out or Installation Service contracts for HVAC/BMS/Security/Fire market in Hong Kong.
• Develop HVAC/BMS/Security/Fire base and energy improvement solution to support client and consultant on building systems
• Achieve annual sales target in accordance with Company's objectives and direction, evaluate tender estimates on secured contracts so as to employ the most cost effective means to fulfill contractual obligations.
• Liaise with Company's sales personnel to ensure minimum lead time for contract execution and material ordering
• Support the overall planning on sales activities, tendering and negotiation process, marketing, and promotional functions
• Ensure quality of work to the satisfaction of customers and meet the Company's goal and achieve satisfactory levels of productivity, efficiency and effective results
• Support Retrofit sales teams on design work, tendering, and assist site supervision and project management of HVAC/BMS/Security/Fire system and other building services related systems, including after-sales services and trouble-shooting
• Liaise with customers and attend meetings with customers or customers' representatives, follow up proactively on any customers' requirement
• Ensure customer satisfaction with the completed contracts, maintain a positive, supportive and hospitable attitude so as to develop and influence customers to maintain a long-term service relationship

What we look for

Required

• Degree holder or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' HVAC/BMS/Security/Fire related sales experience
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
• Effective project execution skill including cash flow planning and project monitoring
• Strong selling, influencing and negotiation skills plus excellent interpersonal skill at all levels
• Independent, resourceful, strategic-thinking and able to work under pressure
• Candidate with more experience could be considered as Senior Sales Engineer, Retrofit

Preferred

• Possess Mechanic / Building Services / Electrical Engineering related academic background
• Experienced in HVAC/BMS/Security/Fire retrofit / fitting out / energy improvement solution sales and execution
• Familiar with Salesforce.com
