Job summary

Grand Hyatt Hong Kong is seeking passionate and energetic talent to join its dynamic Rooms team. You will assist the Front Office leadership in delivering courteous, professional service while coordinating daily pre-shift briefings and handling guest inquiries with follow-up as needed.

The role requires a hospitality-focused education and demonstrable interpersonal and supervisory skills. It features on-site shifts including AM/overnight responsibilities in a bustling hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality / Tourism Management.
• Minimum 1 years of similar experience or 3 years of supervisory experience in large scale hospitality establishment desirable.
• Good presentation and interpersonal skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Front Office Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager in efficiently managing the department according to the established concept statement ensuring the provision of a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times.
• Conducts daily pre-shift briefings to associates on room occupancy, arrivals and departures, VIPs, functions/event and special attention that is needed.
• Handles guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and reports guest complaints or problems to Front Office Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager if no immediate solution can be found and assures follow up with guests.
• Performs AM duties including overnight shifts.
